The speakers will be Vinay Khosla, M.Acc.,CPA, CA, and Richard Rizzo, CPA, CA of Bateman MacKay. Vinay has been a friend of CIMA Canada and has presented this in-demand CPD event for many years.

Vinay Khosla
Vinay Khosla has had a long-standing relationship with CIMA Canada and has presented this in-demand tax update CPD event over the last many years. Vinay is a tax partner at Bateman Mackay. After obtaining his Masters of Accounting from the University of Waterloo in 1997, Vinay earned his CA designation in 1999 and completed the CICA In-depth tax course in 2002. An ardent presenter, he has spoken on an array of tax topics before law firms, financial institutions and various other professional associations.
With over 20 years’ experience, Vinay provides small-medium enterprises with innovative tax and sound business advice that translate into bottom line savings. As a specialist in Tax Planning and Optimization, Vinay also leads our Business Advisory Services and has extensive experience in areas of: tax planning; mergers and acquisitions, estates and trusts, corporate reorganizations and divestitures, creditor proofing, income tax appeals, and other domestic and international tax planning strategies.
Richard Rizzo
As a partner of Bateman MacKay, Richard specialises in the areas of corporate reorganisations; Canadian tax minimisation, estate and succession planning; income tax appeals and tax implications for non-residents earning income in Canada.
